Nine media organizations, including the National Press Workers' Union and the Korea Press Association, held a press conference near the Western District Court today (20th) and insisted that rioters who threatened press freedom should be severely punished for rebellion.
They criticized that President Yoon's supporters shook the constitutional order and the rule of law by breaking into the court and assaulting police and reporters, and that the insurgent forces who committed and defended illegal emergency martial law were responsible for the background.
At the same time, he stressed the need to find all participants and punish them without tolerance to straighten the foundation of democracy.
