MBC drama "The Phone You Called Now," which was controversial, was subject to court sanctions.

The Korea Communications Standards Commission held a general meeting today (20th) and voted 'caution' to 'the phone you're calling now'.

In the first episode of the drama on November 22 last year, the female protagonist, a sign language interpreter, was repeatedly sent out while delivering the news of a landslide, and the scene in which the anchor laughed while describing it as finger swearing was broadcasted.

Since then, related organizations have issued a statement of protest, raising criticism that they have caricatured farmers and sign language.

In response, an MBC official said, "I feel responsible and deeply reflect on the criticism that I hurt farmers. However, there was no unhealthy intention in dealing with sign language, and I have considered it an important element of the drama and have been working on production," he said.

However, the committee members said, "Viewers will think it's abusive language," and "We caricatured sign language, a means of communication for the deaf, with thoughtless production techniques."

He then decided on "Caution," a legal sanction, for KBS entertainment show "Animal Is Excellent," which has been complained of glorifying the owner of the Tangjewon, who slaughtered dogs for food for decades.

KBS stated its opinion, "With this incident, we have prepared measures to prevent recurrence, such as using it for broadcasting only if we agree to provide data and broadcasting."

The Korea Communications Standards Commission also said SBS's "Running Man" and MBC's "What do you do when you play?"', For KBS's '2 Days and 1 Night', the administrative guidance, 'Recommendation' was decided.
