Opposition "The AI textbook education data regulation bill should be promulgated immediately."

Opposition lawmakers from the National Assembly's Education Committee called on Acting President Choi Sang-mok to immediately promulgate an amendment to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act that defines artificial intelligence digital textbooks as educational materials rather than textbooks.

At a press conference at the National Assembly, they argued that the introduction of artificial intelligence digital textbooks is not education for everyone, but education tailored to technology capital, and that acting Choi should not block the legitimate legislation of the National Assembly.

The Ministry of Education then announced the artificial intelligence digital textbook examination two months ago and revised related regulations to give the textbook status, pointing out that this is an illegal administration that has changed in the first place.
