Acting Choi urged the Ministry of Environment and local governments to quickly take related measures such as issuing emergency reduction measures in accordance with response manuals, and the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and local governments to take emergency reduction measures such as limiting the operation of some thermal power plants, inspecting construction sites, and restricting the operation of class 5 vehicles.
In addition, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and local governments took measures to protect students, vulnerable groups, and outdoor workers, and the Ministry of Environment ordered to check the response status of each ministry and local government and manage the cooperative system thoroughly.
The government said the emergency reduction measures will be implemented for the first time in more than a year since the emergency reduction measures on January 31 last year.
