In response to the first arrest of a sitting president in constitutional history, the Ministry of Justice said it is discussing security at the detention center with the security department.
Regarding some supporters' calls for infiltrating the Seoul Detention Center and rescuing President Yoon, they warned that they would arrest him as soon as they tried.

President Yoon Suk Yeol was moved from the waiting room for a suspect in custody to a general detention center.
Formal admission procedures such as physical examinations and mug shots were carried out, and a solitary cell of about 3.6 pyeong was allocated.
Earlier, he asked the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit to postpone the investigation due to health problems, but the Ministry of Justice explained that there is currently no problem with President Yoon's health.

Since he is an incumbent president, the correctional authorities have assigned a dedicated prison guard in consideration of security issues.
The Ministry of Justice drew the line, saying that it is consulting with the security service so that the inmate's account and the president's security can be carried out together, but it is definitely not a special courtesy.
[Kim Seok-woo / Acting Minister of Justice: Protecting the target person does not mean that you keep the courtesy. In the case of the incumbent president, security is an obligation to protect him even if he refuses..]
Regarding some radical supporters, including Rev. Jeon Kwang-hoon, calling for the rescue of President Yoon,
The Seoul Detention Center
affirmed that "there is no possibility of penetration" as it has several outer barbed wire fences, a security system, and patrols.
He then emphasized that if supporters attempt to enter the detention center without permission, such as crossing the fence, they will be arrested immediately.
