Former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, who was arrested on charges of critical missionary work for civil war, will stand as a witness in the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol on the 23rd.
Among emergency martial law officials, he will be the first to stand in the Constitutional Court,
It is expected that the note handed to Choi Sang-mok, former Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs at the time of the
martial law, and intensive inquiries about decree No. 1 will be made.
This is because President Yoon earlier said in his interrogation of the suspect before his arrest that he was confused whether he wrote the note himself or former Minister Kim wrote it, saying, "Build an emergency legislative body budget."Regarding martial law decree No. 1, which caused controversy over the unconstitutionality of
{prohibits political activities', President Yoon said Kim copied it, but Kim refrained from making specific comments.
