We listened to President Trump's inauguration speech. Usually, it seems like it's about 20 minutes, but it seems that you've devoted a lot.
[Reporter]
I've been delivering my inaugural speech for 30 minutes now. He spoke for 17 minutes at the first inauguration ceremony, and in the case of other presidents, President Biden, he spoke for 30 minutes, which was unusually long, even though it did not exceed 20 minutes at most. During the 30-minute speech, 18 standing ovations were received, and people cheered a lot. Compared to the first inauguration speech, if it was filled with a little abstract content in the first period, this time, he revealed in relative detail what executive orders he would sign and what policies he would proceed with.
[Anchor]
I've talked about it in detail. Carrie Underwood's wedding song continues with a slight change in the order of the food, which was omitted earlier. Professor, is this America The Beautiful?
You're right.
[Anchor]
I was listening to a little celebration on the spot.
Originally, it was scheduled before the inauguration speech in the front, but it changed.
[Anchor]
I think the order of the meal has changed a bit. As the professor said earlier, it was an inaugural speech that looked somewhat different from eight years ago, when a message of hope and unity was seen. What part of your inaugural speech did you pay the most attention to?
As the anchor said now, compared to 2017, I feel like the atmosphere of the inauguration has completely changed. In 2017, the message itself was centered on anger, division, and camp, but this time, the future, hope, innovation, integration, and so on seem to be dominated. So, there is a clear difference between the atmosphere when the first period started and the atmosphere when the second period started.
[Anchor]
At first, it showed a very peaceful and united message, but in the second half, it seems that it will declare the southern border by declaring the stories of executive orders, illegal immigration, and national emergencies, but eventually it seems that it continues what it has said. We're going to talk about the inaugural speech, but first of all, is it noticeable that the executive order is number one?
That's right. Among what I said earlier, there are messages such as the future, hope, integration, innovation, etc. of integration, but from our point of view, this is Trump's message to the American people. This message itself is not for the people of other countries in the world, outside of the United States, so for example, some of the things that we talked about here might be a little hurt from the outside. Overall, at first, of course, there are some things that the Biden administration did wrong last time. There was one. We also pointed out here the issue of the recent wildfires in North Carolina and LA, and the Ministry of Justice conducted a targeted investigation. But overall, I think it can be summarized as a message that we should work together to make the U.S. a strong and healthy country again. We've been talking about signing an executive order for a very long time. The biggest focus is on illegal immigration as well, and the massive deportation of criminal illegal immigrants coming into the United States. And those who try to enter the United States through Mexico stay in Mexico until the screening is over. So he said he would completely abolish the policy of staying in Mexico, then arresting and releasing those who entered the U.S. military, and then sending more troops to the southern border so that they can't come in at all. Next, I will designate foreigners' drug cartels as terrorist organizations. I think this can be a big difference because this gives us the authority to handle this even by mobilizing the military. That's the biggest item. Then I'll catch up on the prices. All government departments should step up and focus on curbing prices. And when government spending is excessive and energy prices are soaring because of it, we will take special measures by declaring this an energy emergency and a national energy emergency.
After that, we will continue drilling for oil and gas. So, we will continue to develop fossil fuels and export the rest of it, and instead, we will end the Green New Deal that the Biden administration did and abolish the mandatory electric vehicle conversion rule. By doing so, I said that I would protect the automobile industry and the workers there. It's something I've said before, but I'm repeating it all over again. Then he said he would raise tariffs again. I didn't say how much I would raise, but I will create a foreign tax office to fundamentally reform the trade system. They said that they would prevent foreign companies from looting the United States and then raise foreign income. Then, I will correct all the controversial military, minority protection policies, and things that have been said to be excessive. Then, it seems that the policy is to eliminate this kind of recognition of transgender people as a separate gender. So I said that there are only two castles in the United States, a man and a woman, but there is no middle of it. He said he would do all these things as an executive order, and there was another unique thing that was reported in the media. We talked about the Panama Canal. It was made by the United States at such a high cost, but it is now operated by China. We said that we should take back the Panama Canal, and then the Gulf of Mexico will be the United States alone. Then, it's the highest peak of the North American continent, Mount India, in Alaska, and we said we'd change it to our name, Mount McKinley.

I've told you a variety of stories, but the picture we're showing you at the scene is a continuous celebration. Earlier, there was a Jewish celebration and now it looks like Islam. What did reporter Kim Do-won find a little noticeable?
[Reporter]
It's true that the tone has definitely changed compared to the 1st generation.Ma certainly has a continuous side, though. For example, in the previous part, the United States currently has a trust crisis. While all leaders are prospering, the common people are being extorted and their own people are not protected while protecting foreign countries with our money. This seems to be a consistent perception with the first period in 2017. And I think it's important to talk about it in President Trump's inauguration speech, but it's also important not to talk about it. In fact, there was little mention of foreign policy. The only thing mentioned is that I will no longer be involved in unnecessary wars, but it is interpreted as meaning that this almost means the war in Ukraine. Furthermore, if so, the United States has allies all over the world, and the obligation to protect these allies, the commitment of the United States to protect them. These things are about the trust of the alliance, and of course, since we experienced them during the first Trump period, we are not completely estimating them from the background. I think this is a point where we need to think about how we will respond to the second Trump period in the future.
[Anchor]
In a way, the three promises that are at the heart of the Trump administration. As the professor said earlier, there seem to be a lot of stories about solving various problems as a police state that solves immigration, manufacturing collapse, and U.S. problems, but I understand that more than 100 executive orders are ready as he mentioned that he would become a dictator on his first day in office. Now that your presidency has officially begun, what do you usually do on your first day in office?
[Reporter]
First of all, the inauguration ceremony is not over yet. After the inauguration, we will send back the incoming president, President Biden and Vice President Harris. Marine One helicopter is waiting in front of the Capitol. If you send the president and vice president to this helicopter, then you take the helicopter to Andrews Air Force Base and leave office. Then we have a luncheon with the members of Congress' preparatory committee for the inauguration. Then there's the White House signing ceremony. There's a signing ceremony in the presidential room in the Capitol. After the signing ceremony, we will move back to the White House for a separate Oval Office signing ceremony, followed by a series of inaugural balls.
[Anchor]
Trump talked about a lot of things at the inauguration today through his speech. There are a lot of parts that say they will change it immediately from today, so I think there will be a lot of breaking news about what executive orders will be made in a little while. We'll let you know when the news comes out. So far, I have delivered a live broadcast of Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th U.S. president with international reporter Kim Do-won and visiting chair professor Cho Byung-je of Kyungnam University's Far East Studies Institute.
