This is the first new work [Mickey17] released by director Bong Joon-ho in six years since [Parasite].

It's a cloned human story that was put into pioneering an ice-covered space planet.

The story unfolds when Mickey, the main character who is discarded and revived as a clone every time he dies during his mission, suddenly encounters Mickey the 18th before his 17th death.

[Bong Joon-ho / Movie] [Mickey17] Director: It's a human science fiction movie full of human smells. Mickey is also a story of a very ordinary, weak, and in a way, a poor young man. So I'm looking forward to seeing a new SF that smells like a human being.

The main character Mickey is played by Robert Pattinson, who gained popularity in the film The Twilight series, and stars Steven Yeun, Tony Collette, and Mark Ruffalo.

Robert Pattinson first visited Korea with this movie.

[Robert Pattinson / Movie [Mickey17] Starring: This character is not easy to find. It's a character that's hard to see in such a large-scale movie, and it's attractive that the director doesn't lose his humor.

Director Bong Joon-ho also shared his concerns as a writer in the era of AI, where science and technology develop day by day.

[Bong Junho / Movie [Mickey17] Director: How can I cook AI? I want to be a writer who writes a scenario that AI can never write every year.]

[Mickey 17] has been invited to the Berlin International Film Festival's non-competitive section and will be released for the first time.

It will be released in Korea for the first time in the world on the 28th of next month.

We are interested in whether Bong Joon-ho's black comedy, which tells a tragic story with humor, will attract the audience's response again this time.
