U.N. "Leans on U.S. Local Governments and Businesses" at Trump's notice of withdrawal from climate agreement

Secretary-General António Guterres indirectly expressed regret over U.S. President Trump's notice of withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement, saying he expects the vision of U.S. local governments and businesses.

"We are confident that U.S. cities, state governments, and businesses will demonstrate their vision and leadership for low-carbon economic growth that will create quality jobs and markets with other countries," Guterres said.
