50 people arrested for damaging nine vehicles, including patrol cars, with monkey spanners.

The Gimpo Police Station in Gyeonggi Province arrested a 51-year-old man A as a current offender on charges of breaking nine vehicles, including patrol cars, and nearby real estate fixtures with a monkey spanner.

Mr. A is accused of breaking down a total of 9 vehicles, including 7 vehicles, 1 forklift, and 1 patrol car, in the urban development area of Pungmu Station area in Saudong, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do at around 7 a.m. yesterday (20th).

A also broke windows and furniture of a nearby real estate, and it was investigated that the window of a patrol car that was dispatched after receiving a report was also damaged.

According to a police investigation, A has a history of being treated for mental illness.

The police plan to apply for a warrant against A within today (21st).
