In his inaugural address, U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized that he would reaffirm U.S. priority as a foreign policy stance and put U.S. interests at the center.

"We will no longer be used by other countries," Trump said. "The Trump administration will put the United States first every single day."

"The United States will expand its territory," he said, referring in particular to America's western pioneering history, which highlighted "clear destiny" meaning God's will, but did not mention Canadian and Greenland issues.

Furthermore, there was no specific mention of foreign policy as Trump's inauguration speech was not a traditional way of presenting the vision and tasks of the times in general, but rather a State of the Union address.

The inaugural address did not mention China, a strategic rival of the United States, or North Korea, as well as the war in Ukraine, which is an urgent issue.
