Gyeonggi Province said it will exempt tolls on three private roads managed by the province, including Ilsan Bridge, the 3rd Gyeongin Expressway, and the Seosuwon-Uiwang Expressway, during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The toll exemption will be applied for 96 hours from midnight on the 27th to midnight on the 30th during the Lunar New Year holiday.

As usual, vehicles with high-pass can pass through the high-pass lane and regular vehicles can pass through the toll booth.

Gyeonggi Province expects a total of 1.76 million vehicles to use three private roads, including 300,000 Ilsan Bridge, 890,000 Seosuwon-Uiwang Expressway, and 570,000 Seosuwon-Uiwang Expressway during the free travel period.

Gyeonggi Province has implemented a toll exemption policy since the New Year's Day 2017.

Since then, the policy has been suspended since the 2020 Lunar New Year in line with the government's "social distancing" due to the spread of COVID-19, but it has been implemented again since Chuseok 2022.
