The government is pushing for a bill revision to raise the building-to-land ratio, which is the proportion of buildings in construction sites, from 70% to 80%.

In this regard, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Public Administration and Security announced that the Enforcement Decree of the National Land Planning Act will be revised within the first half of this year.

In order to prevent overcrowding in rural areas, the construction rate of agricultural and industrial complexes has been set at 70%, which is lower than 80% of general industrial complexes, but companies moving into agricultural and industrial complexes continued to demand an increase in the construction rate, saying that the constraints on the construction rate are not efficient in their operation.

The decision to ease the building-to-land ratio is expected to benefit 484 agricultural industrial complexes and 7,672 companies nationwide, improving investment conditions in agricultural industrial complexes.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport predicted that the burden on companies will be reduced and investment will be activated, helping the regional economy recover and balanced development of the country.
