Lunar New Year holiday, which is the maximum number of passengers based on the Lunar New Year holiday since the opening of the port.

On the 25th, the first day of the holiday, more than 220,000 people will flock to Incheon International Airport, which is expected to be the busiest day of the holiday.

The day with the highest number of departing passengers is also expected to be the 25th, and arriving passengers are expected to peak on the 30th.

With severe congestion expected, Incheon International Airport Corporation has decided to implement special transportation measures, including the early opening of the departure and arrival halls.

[Bae Jong-oh / Incheon International Airport Corporation Integrated Management Team Leader: We plan to open the departure hall early and deploy support personnel. In order to use the airport quickly, it is highly recommended to use simplified departure procedures such as smart passes and public transportation.]

With the number of passengers using airports nationwide except Incheon Airport expected to be at last year's level, the Korea Airports Corporation also plans to minimize waiting time by increasing the utilization rate of security checkpoints during busy hours.
