Acting President Choi Sang-mok, who has said he will focus on early budget execution at the beginning of the year and seek additional economic reinforcement measures in the first quarter if necessary, has indicated additional consultations.
He said the National Assembly and the government could discuss it together, saying that additional fiscal investments are needed to support people's livelihoods and strengthen industrial competitiveness.

It mentioned the revision of the Restriction of Special Taxation Act to reduce the burden on small business owners and small and medium-sized enterprises and the Special Act on Semiconductors, Power Networks, and Offshore Wind Power to strengthen industrial competitiveness.
Regarding Trump's inauguration, Choi congratulated him by posting the phrase "Make the Alliance Great Again" on social media X, which transformed Trump's campaign slogan "Make America Great Again."
