Consumer sentiment has recovered slightly this year, the report showed.
According to the January Consumer Trend Survey released by the Bank of Korea, the consumer sentiment index was 91.2, up 3P from December last year.
If the index is below 100, that means a pessimistic outlook.
The Bank of Korea analyzed that consumer sentiment has improved slightly due to the easing of political uncertainty and expectations for the new U.S. government's easing of tariff policies.

With the launch of the new Trump administration, a significant regulatory change has been predicted.
The government holds a system briefing session for domestic exporters to understand the U.S. import regulations and respond appropriately if necessary.
The government plans to hold additional briefing sessions by subdividing them by industry in the future.
