Berlin Film Festival held a press conference on the 21st (local time) to announce the screening of the competition, including director Hong Sang-soo's new film, "What Nature Says to You."

The movie "What Does Nature Say to You" depicts what happens when a young woman introduces her boyfriend to her family. Actors Ha Sung-guk, Kwon Hae-hyo and Kim Min-hee, who have appeared in many of Hong's previous works, appeared.

Director Hong won the Silver Bear Award for Best Actress for "Alone on the Beach at Night" in 2017 and the Silver Bear Award for "Traveler's Need" last year. This year's invitation is Hong's sixth consecutive year following his previous works "The Runaway Woman," "Introduction," "The Novelist's Film," "In the Water," and "The Traveler's Need."

The Berlin International Film Festival, which marks its 75th anniversary this year, will be held in Berlin, Germany from the 13th to the 23rd of next month, and "What Nature Says to You" will be released in Korea in the first half of this year after being released as a world premiere through the Berlin International Film Festival.

As director Hong's new film is invited to the Berlin Film Festival, attention is also being paid to whether he will attend the festival with Kim Min-hee, who has been having an affair for 10 years. The two are drawing more attention as it was recently revealed that Kim Min-hee was pregnant with director Hong's child.

Director Hong and Kim Min-hee developed into lovers in the wake of the 2015 film Right Now, Wrong Then, and admitted to the affair in 2017. Coach Hong filed for divorce against the headquarters, but lost in 2019.
