Kakao said it provides a background for exclusive chat rooms on its institutional channels to prevent impersonation of public institutions such as police and prosecutors.

First of all, Kakao plans to apply a dedicated wallpaper to the channels of four major public institutions, including the National Police Agency, the Prosecutor's Office, the National Health Insurance Corporation, and the Military Manpower Administration, and then expand it to other public institutions.

An official from Kakao emphasized that it will do its best to make the people use the service with confidence in cooperation with various public institutions in the future.
