Our men's and women's teams participating in the short track 1,500m final at the 2025 Torino Winter Universiade have won gold medals side by side.

Kim Ki-li was the first to cross the finish line in the women's 1,500m short track final at the Palabella Ice Rink in Turin, Italy, with a time of 2:37.614 seconds.

It's our team's first gold medal in this competition.

Seo Hwi-min, who reached the final together, secured a silver medal and Kim Gun-hee secured a bronze medal, so all three Korean female athletes took the podium.

In the men's 1500m final, in which three South Korean athletes reached the final, Kim Tae-sung crossed the finish line first with a time of 2:27.775, winning the gold medal.

Lee Dong-hyun and Bae Seo-chan won silver and bronze medals, respectively.

With this, the men's and women's teams swept all the gold, silver and bronze medals in the 1,500m short track final.
