Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon took a cautious stance, saying he is "deeply concerned" about whether to run if an early presidential election is held.

Asked about his intention to run for president early today (22nd), Mayor Oh said, "It is too early to answer because the impeachment trial is underway," but added that he thinks his steady experience as a fourth-term Seoul mayor has many possibilities as a kind of "public good."

In addition, the spirit of today's era is "normalization of normalization," and it is analyzed that many people will most desperately want a Republic of Korea that is integrated with rational state administration by a normal person through the impeachment phase.

Mayor Oh went on to say, "There are many opinions that the fundamental solution to the restructuring of the power structure is constitutional amendment," and argued that if the Cabinet and the parliament had the authority to check each other, there would have been no violence and excessive measures such as martial law would have been refrained.

In addition, he added, "We are planning to discuss constitutional amendments in the first half of this year that will help the Korean economy achieve a quantum jump and lay the foundation for prosperity."

Regarding the allegation of political broker Myung Tae-kyun, Mayor Oh said he was happy and fortunate to hear that the so-called "golden phone" was submitted, urging the prosecution to investigate quickly and announce the results quickly.
