Kwon Young-se, chairman of the People's Power Emergency Response Committee, said he firmly rejects violent acts or unreasonable claims and thinks there should be a proper judicial action over the recent rampage at the Seoul Western District Court.

Chairman Kwon said this in a broadcast interview, but emphasized that if there is a reasonable argument and something to accept, it should be flexible in a way that accepts it.

Regarding the recent controversy over sending New Year's gifts to conservative YouTubers, he said, "We have been doing it as a ritual to those who have suffered, and the people accused by the Democratic Party are also suffering, so let's put it in," adding that the NEC will fairly determine whether it is illegal.

He also criticized that it is meaningless for the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit to continue its attempt to force the president of Yoon Suk Yeol, and that he does not know what other intentions there are other than to insult the president.

Chairman Kwon said that he is not currently preparing for an early presidential election and is not considering taking measures to leave President Yoon, pointing out that it is not appropriate to be isolated by leaving the party like former President Park Geun Hye in the past, and to show an act of contention.
