Gyeonggi Province said Governor Kim Dong-yeon, who is participating in the "2025 World Economic Forum" (Davos Forum) in Davos, Switzerland, briefed world media leaders on the political and economic situation in Korea and offered solutions.

He held a briefing session at the "Conversation Session with Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon" proposed by the organizers of the Davos Forum, and was attended by broadcasters, newspapers and news agencies, correspondents and foreign affairs reporters from the United States, the United Kingdom, China, the UAE, and Malaysia.

It is the first time for an opposition member to hold a media leader briefing at the Davos Forum and the first time for a regional head,
Governor
Kim focused on explaining the response to the declaration and lifting of emergency martial law and the impeachment situation and promoting the potential and resilience of the Korean economy.

Solutions to the chaos in South Korea include a swift impeachment citation and early presidential election by the Constitutional Court, the appointment of Trump's second economic plenipotentiary, and a completely new policy of a new government different from that of Yoon Suk Yeol.

New policies include expansionary fiscal policies, more forward-looking industrial policies, stronger safety nets for vulnerable populations, and bold action against climate change.

When asked, "What do you think about the reversal of the approval rating of the Democratic Party of Korea, which is its party?" Governor Kim said, "Isn't the K-drama fun? Korean politics is also fast and unexpected. "It can be called a K-political drama," he said. "I don't know how the approval rating will change a week later. There is no need to be happy and sad."

When asked whether he would run for president, he said, "We can't put the cart before the horse. The most important thing now is to remove political uncertainty and revive the economy."
