Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon stressed that the people's livelihood scene is urgent and that an extra budget for super people's livelihoods should be agreed before the Lunar New Year holiday.

Governor Kim, who is attending the Davos Forum in Switzerland, said on social media that since the government has decided to review it, let's immediately launch a national council and discuss the "super people's livelihood supplement" as the first agenda.

Governor Kim said, "Let's invest as soon as possible and as large as possible in supporting the people's livelihood economy, investing in future food, and supporting people's livelihood recovery," and suggested, "Selective support is more effective than supporting the whole people."

In particular, he added, "As we have argued so far, we need to provide thicker and tighter payments to the vulnerable to achieve the goal of stabilizing people's livelihoods and revitalizing the economy."
