The fire at the Gyeokpo Port Fisheries Market in Buan, North Jeolla Province, which occurred last night, is believed to have been set on fire due to electrical factors.

The Electrical Safety Corporation, police and fire authorities, which conducted a joint inspection at the scene earlier today, said they believe the fire was caused by electrical factors in the aquarium wiring.

The fire department also said, "The provisional property damage was initially about 130 million won, but the amount of property damage may increase due to the death of live fish."

Earlier, at 11:15 p.m. last night (21st), there were no casualties due to a fire at the Gyeokpo Port Fisheries Market, but 11 out of 26 stores on the second floor of the ground were burned.
