Ruling party "Democrats suppress even people's expression of political opinion"

The People's Power condemned the Democratic Party of Korea's launch of a special committee within the party to verify distortion or manipulation of opinion polls, and that it was an act to suppress the people's expression of political opinion.

The ruling party members of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee held a press conference and said, "If the current system determines that there is a problem with the poll, we can file an objection with related agencies, but the Democratic Party of Korea suddenly created an organization within the party."

He then argued that the Democratic Party of Korea has taken such an unconventional and anti-democratic behavior because various recent polls have announced a series of results that are different from their ideas.

He stressed that the Democratic Party of Korea criticizes the party's plan to ignore the institutional procedures and come forward at the party level, pointing out that there was a movement to form a task force related to public opinion polls or to propose an "anti-microbial law."
