The Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency and the Daejeon Metropolitan Government's Autonomous Police Commission booked 35 people without detention on charges of manipulating the accident and receiving insurance money and business suspension benefits.

They are accused of manipulating the details of the accident and taking 230 million won, including insurance and business suspension benefits, if a car accident occurs while working as a motorcycle delivery worker in Daejeon and Chungcheong.

Police explained that they had bought motorcycle insurance for home use and stole insurance money or medical care benefits by deceiving the accident that occurred when they were commuting to work.

He added that he was able to find out their crimes by confirming that he applied for the same accident as an industrial accident to the Korea Labor Welfare Corporation and received a vacation pay.
