Prime Minister Han responded when Joo Jin-woo, a member of the People's Power, asked about the Democratic Party's Chairman Lee Jae-myung's meeting with the heads of six major commercial banks at a special committee hearing on the National Assembly's alleged rebellion.
Han went on to say that finance is crucial as the blood of the industry, stressing that all countries have broad recognition of financial autonomy and regulatory organisations to oversee it.
He added that if political action is reflected in finance, finance cannot develop properly and act as blood for private companies when needed.
