The 74th anniversary of the Incheon Landing Operation was held at Incheon International Port Pier 1 and 8.

The ceremony, organized by the Incheon Metropolitan Government and the Navy Headquarters, began with the entry of flags from 22 countries participating in the Korean War, followed by silent tribute, video messages from veterans, veterans' retrospective, declaration of an international peace city, and celebratory performances.

Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said in a congratulatory speech, "Incheon has healed the wounds of war and grown into an international city through the world's best international airport, port, and free economic zone," and emphasized, "We will play a role in leading peace and urban community growth in solidarity with cities around the world."

The ceremony also held a proclamation ceremony to announce that Incheon City has officially joined the U.N.-approved non-governmental organization "International Peace City" as the 418th member city this year.

Following the ceremony, the 1.4km section connecting the Gyeongin Railway East Incheon Station and Incheon Football Stadium held a city march to commemorate the victory of the Incheon Landing Operation.

The march involved 1,800 veterans, Navy and Marine Corps honor guards, military bands, and veterans' organizations, as well as about 30 pieces of equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, and helicopters.
