Hollywood actor Jennifer Lawrence, who instantly became a global star with "The Hunger Games," has declared her support for Vice President Kamala Harris.

According to Fox News on the 25th, Lawrence said in an interview with People magazine that he thinks Harris is an amazing candidate and that he will vote for Vice President Harris in next month's presidential election because he knows he will do everything he can to protect the "right to reproductive rights" (women's right to make childbirth decisions).

Lawrence said abortion access is a key issue that draws support for Harris and stressed that the most important thing is not to let anyone in the White House who wants to ban abortion.

He then introduced "Jurauski vs Texas," one of the two documentaries scheduled to be released this year, but raised his voice by saying that "women are dying" due to a law made by a shallow white man.The documentary

is about abortionists who sued Texas last year and is said to have co-produced it with Hillary and Chelsea Clinton's mother and daughter.

Another documentary film, Bread and Roses, is directed by Afghan filmmaker Sarah Mani, which shows the plight of Afghan women under Taliban rule.

Lawrence said he hopes such documentary films will lead to donations and volunteering from audiences and, above all, to fulfill civic obligations, stressing that "the most important thing we can do now is just vote."

Lawrence rose to stardom for starring in the series X-Men and the Hunger Games and won the Academy Award for best actress for her leading role in the Silver Linings Playbook (2012).
