It was belatedly known that the family of the cabin manager, who is not authorized to enter the flight control room in operation, entered and the airline received a fine.

According to the data sent by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to Lee Yeon-hee of the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee, the Seoul Regional Aviation Administration imposed a fine of 5 million won on Jin Air in June.

The investigation confirmed that the husband and young daughter of the cabin manager entered the flight control room and stayed for a few minutes with the captain's acquiescence on a Jin Air flight from Da Nang, Vietnam to Incheon in March.

According to the Aviation Security Act, air transport operators are required to establish measures to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the control room to maintain security in the cabin, and Jin Air's own regulations also stipulate that no one should enter except those who are allowed to enter the control room.

Although the Seoul Regional Aviation Administration imposed fines on the airline, it proposed to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to improve the system, saying there was no basis for punishing the captain and office manager who allowed unauthorized persons to enter the control room.
