How much did the temperature drop this morning?

With cold air coming down from the northwest, many places recorded their lowest temperatures this fall this morning.

So how about now?

[Caster]
Even though it's midday, the temperature hasn't risen significantly.

The current temperature in Seoul is 18.4 degrees, and the wind is strong across the country today, making it feel colder.

The weather will continue to be colder than usual until tomorrow, the National Foundation Day holiday, so you should pay attention to your clothes.

The inland sky will be mostly clear today.

However, due to the influence of the east wind, rain of around 5mm will pass in the afternoon in the central and southern Yeongdong and the eastern coast of northern Gyeongsangbuk-do.

Today's midday temperature will be around 2 to 5 degrees below the previous year's temperature.

It will be chilly at 21 degrees in Seoul, 20 degrees in Gwangju, and 22 degrees in Daegu.

Meanwhile, Typhoon Kraton is now a very strong force that is passing through the southwest coast of Taiwan.

However, the typhoon will weaken significantly after passing Taiwan between today and tomorrow, and will weaken to a tropical depression after exiting by sea.

Although the likelihood of a typhoon directly affecting the Korean Peninsula has decreased, it will act as a variable for the weather after the rest of the holidays and weekends.

The cold air on the Korean Peninsula and the steam brought by the typhoon will meet, and strong rain and wind will blow around the south and east between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

It is still fluid, but after the weekend, there is a possibility that the rain clouds left by the typhoon will move near the Korean Peninsula and affect it.

For the time being, the waves will be high on the east coast, south coast, and Jeju Island coast.

Please pay attention to safety accidents as high waves can cross the seashore rock or breakwater.
