According to the data received by Rep. Ahn Do-gul of the Democratic Party of Korea from the Financial Supervisory Service, as of the end of last year, 3,750 individuals had high-value accounts worth more than 1 billion won in Upbit and Bithumb, of which 185 were in their 20s, or 5%.
Upbit and Bithumb are the top two virtual asset exchanges in market share, and that figure could rise further if other exchanges are added together.
The value of these 20s' virtual assets is 967.2 billion won, with an average of 5.2 billion won, according to the survey.
