The Democratic Party of Korea called on the ruling party to cooperate in the handling of the special prosecution law, saying that it can no longer leave the absolute power to give in to the ruling party leader ahead of the re-vote of the special prosecution law by Kim Gun-hee.

Cho Seung-rae, a senior spokesman, said at a briefing at the National Assembly that Kim has no absolute power because she is not even prosecuted for a number of allegations such as accepting luxury bags, manipulating stock prices and intervening in nominations.

He then pointed out that the president's office said it was not close to the president and his wife regarding the suspicion of former presidential office senior administrator Kim Dae-nam, but that she should answer what Kim had done in the last general election and national convention.
