When Habib told the U.S. and France the U.S. and France said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also agreed to a cease-fire.
He also said he had heard that Moss Hochstein, the U.S. special envoy for the Middle East, was going to Lebanon to negotiate a temporary ceasefire.
Habib, however, pointed to Israel's assassination of Hezbollah's leader, saying he "will know all what has happened since then."
