The girl group New Jeans fandom reportedly sent a "fax bomb" to lawmakers of the ruling and opposition parties' Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, asking them to "put Hive management, including Bang Si-hyuk, on the list of witnesses for the parliamentary audit."

According to the Dong-A Ilbo on the 2nd, faxes poured into the offices of lawmakers from the ruling and opposition parties of the committee, asking them to include Hive management, including Bang Si-hyuk, as witnesses for the national audit.

The fax sent by New Jeans fans said, "The management dispute between Hive and Adore CEO Min Hee-jin has intensified out of control," and insisted that Hive Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, CEO Lee Jae-sang, and Chief Public Relations Officer Park Tae-hee be present as witnesses to the National Assembly.

YG Entertainment CEO Yang Min-seok, SM Entertainment CEO Jang Chul-hyuk, and JYP Entertainment CEO Jung Wook were among the witnesses for the upcoming audit of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism scheduled for the 7th, but Hive officials were not included.

In response, Newzins fans pointed out, "A major entertainment representative is attending, but why isn't the most controversial Hive coming out?"

In Hive, Kim Joo-young, the chief human resources officer of Hive, is scheduled to attend the Environment and Labor Committee along with New Jeans member Hani (reference) due to "poor response to idol bullying."

"Those who identified themselves as representatives of certain regions have been reporting on Newzins' bullying at work," said a Democratic Party official at the Korea Economic and Social Affairs Commission. "We adopted Hani as a reference because we need to protect the human rights of idol groups in order to keep the K-pop boom."

Earlier on September 11, New Jeans Hani claimed that she was bullied at work, saying, "I ignore you," even though she greeted other celebrities and managers passing by while waiting in the hallway of the Hive building through a YouTube live broadcast. Since then, Newzins fans have filed a complaint with the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
