Prime Minister Han Deok-soo ordered the thorough safety management of the "2024 Seoul International Fireworks Festival" to be held tomorrow (5th).

Prime Minister Han called on relevant ministries and the Seoul Metropolitan Government to establish an emergency communication system in preparation for unexpected situations and safety accidents, distribute entrance and exit, and secure emergency evacuation routes to manage crowds.

In addition, he urged people to secure sufficient fire fighting facilities in preparation for a fire and thoroughly check transportation measures, saying that there is a risk of accidents if visitors use public transportation at the same time after the event ends.

The Seoul International Fireworks Festival, which will be held around Yeouido, has been held by Hanwha Group since 2000, and is expected to attract more than 1 million people this year.
