Lebanon's state-run NNA news agency reported earlier in the day that Arakchi had arrived at Rafiq Hariri International Airport in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
It is noteworthy that Iran, the mainstay of the Middle East's "axis of resistance" such as Hezbollah, fired about 200 ballistic missiles at Israel on the 1st and declared a retaliatory attack.
Arakchi's Lebanon schedule was not disclosed in detail.
AFP explained that it is the first time a senior Iranian official has visited Lebanon since Israeli air strikes in Beirut killed Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah on the 27th of last month.
