Yangpyeong Police Station in Gyeonggi-do said a man in his 60s, who was climbing Bongmisan Mountain in Danwol-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, was stung by a bee and killed at around 1:50 p.m. yesterday (3rd).
A firefighter who was dispatched after receiving a report from A that he was stung by a bee and had difficulty breathing found A at around 3:20 p.m., an hour and a half later, but he had already died.
The police believe that A died of anaphylactic shock, a severe allergic reaction, and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
