"Harris has a slight advantage over Trump in the margin of error in active voting"

With the U.S. presidential election just over a month away, the latest national poll shows Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris with a slight margin of error over Republican former President Donald Trump.

According to a survey of 1,628 adults nationwide from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1 local time by U.S. public broadcasters NPR and PBS, Harris was 2% ahead of former President Trump by 50% to 48%.

The overall error range for this survey is ±3.3%p and the positive voting layer error range is ±3.7%.

In addition, it gained the support of 50% of registered voters among those surveyed, showing a 3%p advantage within the margin of error over former President Trump, who won 47%.

On the other hand, in the non-partisan group of respondents who showed willingness to vote actively, former President Trump had an advantage over Vice President Harris by 50% to 46%.

The survey identified clear fault lines according to voter gender and race.

Men willing to vote actively 57% to 41% Trump.

As for women willing to actively vote, Harris had a 58% to 40% lead outside the margin of error, respectively.

In addition, Trump was ahead of Harris by 53% to 45%, and Harris by 60% to 39% among non-white active voters.

By voting method, Vice President Harris received 71% of the active voters planning to vote by mail or absentee, and former President Trump received 58% of the active voters planning to vote on the day of the presidential election.
