The opposition party, which is facing the third year of the Yoon Suk Yeol government's parliamentary audit, is focusing its firepower on various suspicions surrounding First Lady Kim Gun-hee.

The National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee, which was at the forefront of the 22nd National Assembly's rental offensive, adopted more than 50 witnesses and witnesses related to Kim's allegations, from stock price manipulation to the controversy over the relocation of the presidential office.

The ruling party protested, saying it had never agreed, but opposition members with an overwhelming number of seats in the standing committee pushed ahead with the adoption of witnesses.

Board of Education has decided to call the former and current presidents of Sookmyung Women's University as witnesses to investigate the alleged plagiarism of the thesis.

The steering committee, headed by Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party, is also set to adopt witnesses on the 16th, and the number of general witnesses and references involved is expected to reach 100 including overlapping people.

In fact, this is why the word "Mrs. Kim" comes out as a parliamentary inspection.

In response to the opposition party's massive offensive, the people's power is trying to counteract Lee Jae-myung's judicial risk and the suspicion of former President Moon Jae In's family.

Roh Kyu-ho, former head of the investigation department of the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency, has been listed as a witness for the National Security Commission in connection with allegations of private use of Lee's corporate card.

However, due to opposition from the Democratic Party, which headed the main standing committee, the adoption of witnesses against key figures in the development of Daejang-dong and former President Moon's daughter Da-hye failed.

Unlike hearings, the parliamentary audit can issue a companion order for non-present witnesses, and avoiding this can lead to up to five years in prison for contempt of the National Assembly.

As the Democratic Party of Korea considers legal measures if Kim's mother and daughter do not attend the parliamentary inspection, tensions in the political circle are expected to peak during the parliamentary audit.
