According to the "Housing Ownership Statistics" submitted by the National Statistical Office to the office of Lim Kwang-hyun of the Democratic Party of Korea, the average value of housing assets of the top 1% of housing households in 2022 was 2.945 billion won.
On the other hand, the housing asset value of the bottom 10% was 30 million won, which was 98.2 times the gap with the top 1%.
The average number of houses owned by the top 1% of households is 4.68, with 72.3% living in Seoul by region.
