First Lady Kim Gun-hee said, "I hope to promote understanding through cultural and artistic exchanges between Korea and the Philippines."

Kim Gun-hee, who is on a tour of Southeast Asia with President Yoon Suk Yeol, visited the National Museum of Art in the Philippines with first lady Louise Aranetta Marcos.

At the meeting, Mrs. Kim said, "I hope that mutual understanding and intimacy will be enhanced through cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries."

He also explained that the visit to the museum between the first ladies of the two countries was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Marcos and that he had seen original Philippine works.
