Immediately after the start of the parliamentary audit, Park Sang-hyuk of the Democratic Party of Korea said he would sue and accuse the National Assembly if Vice Chairman Chung stepped down from his previous position, pointing out that this is a fundamental threat to the National Assembly.
In response, Lee Hun-seung, a member of the People's Power, proposed a consultation between the ruling and opposition parties, but the ruling and opposition parties immediately argued that the National Assembly needs to take action.
In the process, Yoon Han-hong, chairman of the Political Affairs Committee, a member of the People's Power, called for Chun's exit, but Chun protested and eventually declared the suspension of the audit.
