Taylor Swift, a global pop star, has become the richest female musician in the world as her popularity continues to soar.

According to Forbes on the 7th (local time), Swift is estimated to have $1.6 billion (about 2.1526 trillion won) as of the 5th, surpassing Rihanna, who is worth $1.4 billion (about 1.834 trillion won).

Swift's wealth is analyzed to consist of $600 million (about 872.2 billion won), $600 million worth of music, and $125 million (about 168.1 billion won) worth of real estate accumulated from royalties and tour performances.

Among male and female musicians, Beyoncé's husband, rapper and business mogul Jay-Z topped the list with $2.5 billion (W3.36 trillion), followed by Swift.
