The presidential office criticized the Democratic Party of Korea for proposing a revision of the National Assembly rules to prevent the ruling party from participating in the standing special prosecution candidate recommendation committee, which will investigate cases involving the president and his family, as a trick for the party's leader Bangtan.

An official from the presidential office said that the Democratic Party's revision of the rules of the permanent special prosecution law would create another prosecution directly under the opposition party.

He then pointed out that during the first parliamentary audit of the 22nd National Assembly, which should focus on people's livelihoods, the opposition party even mobilized tricks to make the National Assembly a political battleground.
