Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov
warned that the West would retaliate as soon as it authorized Ukraine to use long-range missiles.

Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grusico also pointed out that the risk of a direct conflict between Russia and NATO has increased.
