Chung Sung-ho of the Democratic Party of Korea, who is called the head of the pro-Lee Jae-myung faction, said there is no possibility that the party's leadership will falter regardless of the outcome of the first trial ruling next month.

Lawmaker Chung said in an MBC radio interview that he would be in crisis outside, but if you look at supporters and public opinion, Lee's support is increasing, and even assuming the worst, he will not be swayed until a final ruling is made.

In addition, Han Dong-hoon, who has to resign from his position a year and a half before the presidential election under the People's Power Party constitution, said, "If we lose the by-election in April next year, we have no chance to make a comeback," adding, "Before that, we have to differentiate ourselves from President Yoon Suk Yeol."

At the same time, he predicted that representative Han would decide his position on the special prosecutor Kim Gun-hee around the extraordinary parliamentary session in February next year, just before the by-election.
