Rep. Lee Joon-seok of the New Reform Party refuted that a high-ranking official in the presidential office said President Yoon Suk Yeol met Myung Tae-kyun for the first time through the introduction of Rep. Lee, calling it a straight lie.

Rep. Lee said in an interview on Channel A's YouTube broadcast, "If you look at the text messages he and Myung shared in the past, it is clear whose side Mr. Myung is from."

The July 2021 text message, which Lee also released on social media and others, contained what Myung told Lee to apologize to President Yoon.

In response, Rep. Lee pointed out that if he really introduced Myung to President Yoon, why would Myung ask him to apologize?

At the same time, when the presidential office explained that he had not contacted Myung since the presidential election, he claimed that he had seen the messenger conversations between Myung and Kim Gun-hee about what happened in October and November 2022.
