President Yoon Suk Yeol will hold his first Korea-Japan summit with Japan's new Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit today.

The presidential office said President Yoon will hold bilateral talks with six countries, including Canada and Australia, including holding a summit with Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba in Laos today.

The Korea-Japan summit will be held around the ASEAN + Korea-China-Japan Summit to be held this afternoon, and the first Korea-Japan summit took place nine days after the inauguration of Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba, who took office on the 1st.
