Park said at a parliamentary audit meeting that the president's office explained that President Yoon Suk Yeol had cut off communication with Mr. Myung, but he continued to make further revelations, such as contacting him by phone and Telegram even after he took office.
He then questioned why not take legal action, saying, "Myeong is lying, but Yongsan's response is unprecedentedly passive," according to the president's explanation.
Park Sung-joon, the deputy floor leader, also said, "The prosecution should summon and arrest Myung just because he threatened the president," and asked, "What kind of weakness was caught, not like the Yoon Suk Yeol prosecution regime?"
